Vishakh Cheruparambath

I try to build applied AI systems for industrial machinery manufacturing environments. In practice that means computer vision, agentic workflows, and the data engineering underneath them. I recently completed my Master's in Electromobility (ACES) at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, with my thesis in collaboration with EOS GmbH on vision-transformer based classification of spare parts, using only synthetic data for model training and retrieval-based search suite of spare parts.

My work at EOS and Siemens Mobility has centered on process optimization and automation: developing AI agents, replacing manual workflows, and turning unstructured operational data into a basis for decisions. The problems that interest me are the ones where a measurable amount of manual effort can be removed without any loss of reliability.

I came to this field from mechanical engineering. I hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala. Later, I started my career at Helicopter Division of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Bangalore. This experience gave me a working understanding of how manufacturing and service operations work in practice. This experience continues to shape how I scope and deploy automation.
